Some of our horses have received recognition as well:

Red Hot in Ladies Classic by JNFerrigno
CF Red Hot Fox
:bulletpurple: 2010 Top 5 Ideal SSH Mares
:bulletpurple: 2010 Top 5 Broodmares

And now sadly for the Loose Somes...
Mainly loosing time. In the beginning of November I traveled 3 hours away from home for a interview about transferring my job (cake decorating) to a different store. The day before the interview, my breaks locked up and I rear ended the back side of a truck, which cracked my little Dodge Neon's face in two. It looked worse then it was, but the end result was the radiator (that we just replaced that year) cracked and needed a new one. Even more annoying was my breaks were just replaced the day before that, and I had no idea that I didn't have anti-lock breaks on them, I didn't even know there were breaks that were not anti-lock. Until I could get a radiator I was staying with friends up there. Thankfully I was able to transfer my job class up there, and get to work right away so I didn't miss much time. In the mean time I had been already looking at apartments up there, and unfortuntally had to put a deposit on one sooner that I had anticipated. Here I was moving in November, and wasn't planing to move until December. So after the deposit sucking my reserves, I had to wait till next paycheck to get the radiator. Which after we told them which one we specifically needed, the dingbats ordered the wrong one. So this is me waiting another week for the right one to come in ---> !@#$%&!@#$%& *pause* !@#$%&!! And then during all this, my friend I was staying with finally received a call back for her job and needed some one to watch the babies (whom I call my Nephews)during the day since she would not be working from home any more, and her husband is a school teacher. So now I picked up two jobs, a 8:30 to 4:30 nanny watching a 3 yo and a 7mo, and then decorating and closing a huge bakery from 5 to 10, Monday through Friday, while pulling doubles on the weekend at the bakery. Needless to say when you're getting up at 7am and not getting home till 10:30pm, you don't have much free time to do anything. In fact many times I end up pulling all nighters and load up on espresso while taking power napes while the babies are sleeping. The last month and a half has been the hardest because the youngest baby was diagnosed with Glaucoma, which means he has pressure building up in his eye, which = inconsolable screaming baby. This poor thing, at 7 months old he's been in pain for the last 6. First it was the baby food recall which inflamed his intestines, and then it was a Doctor misdiagnosing his eye condition due to allergies. He's already had surgery on both eyes, and after his check up yesterday he will have to come back in another two months to see if he'll need surgery again. And then as of January 10th I will be going to college again Wednesday and Friday nights, and Saturday mornings while also taking some online classes. x_x @_@ z_z ;_; pray for my sanity please.

The End.

I'm sending you happy thoughts Jaques. I hope things smooth out for you soon. Do you have anyone to help you with any of this, or are you basically on your own?

 But great job on the Awards. You deserved those titles - you've worked so hard this year in spite of difficult obstacles, and I applaud you.

Yeah my friends that I was staying with were a great help to me, and still are. It wasn't easy considering the reasons why I left in the first place were due to bad family.

Yeah, it was so freaking childish. Telling me they removed all my things from their gallery, like that would offend me. And then saying they were going to make sure none of their friends used my stuff either. Suits me. Idiots tend to flock together any ways so if she can keep them out of my hair, I'd be so grateful.

Ooooooh, scary... If you were childish like me ('cause I totally haven't grown up lol) the response would have been: "Well, you can't come to my birthday party!"

 That's good though that the others will avoid you as well :w00t:

I know the feeling cause we have always had problems with phone cords burning out and we have told them that and when our DSL modem quit working 100% they sent us a newer model that we should have gotten years before that the lady on the phone told us, so we have had this one for a few years with the same problem of burning out phone cords and we called them and they said we should have gotten a DSL phone cord that wouldn't burn out with our new modem and it only came with an ethernet cord and the modem and she said we could not get just a phone cord we would have to order a new modem and she said you can't do that unless yours is 100% not working so we are stuck with it until the modem itself quits working

By auctioning off your old teke stuff do you mean for real money or auctioning them off for the HARPG?

'Auctioning off our previous Teke artwork?'

Does that mean selling the horses, or the digital art? :?

Also, are you planning on selling off the Vanners as well, 'cause I loves me some Vanners.

Lets have her do all three. She'll be a stable hand, and will be a rider in training with one of our trainers. Then next UMF she'll can be an assistant counselor. What would she like to ride in?

Do the respective directors have to reside @ the University? And what would their jobs entail?

They would have to live in the area. If they didn't have a place in Florida to live, Cheshire farms have small apartments for some of their staff. And really all it would be is a name, it wouldn't require you to do anything. I may use the person in a story attatched to art, or drawing, but you wouldn't have to do anything.

Oh my God I guess I have now officially fallen in love with you :giggle: That University idea is pretty gorgeous!

I often thought about the Boss giving training lessons... well he is a good trainer, but very sarcastic when he comments to errors. But since he was a successful Dressage rider he might be qualified to give some classical dressage lessons.

I would also love to send some of our riders to the university depending on the courses available.

definately it would be the greatest honour for DLS!!!
We would love to offer high class dressage courses since DLS has a long tradition of training horses for nobility and cavalry purposes.

WOW the generator is amazing!

Great work! Is the chance to get a rare color the same as the chance to get a normal bay or grey horse?
Reply
:iconjnferrigno:

Most of it is the same, but there should be a higher chance of getting non-dilute, simple patterns or no patterns, and no surprise. Figure for people who don't like all these crazy colors that might work for them.

YAY!!!! I am definatly joining that group, I love using linearts for my Refrances sheets, because that way I can focus more on the horses design then on the lineart itself. Thanks for lettin us know.

I do think that those who use they're own lineart shouldn't be punished. I think this rule was meant to stop people from posting those MS Paint linearts over and over again but it's translation was misconstrued a bit :/
Maybe if the HARPG clarified it a bit it's be better :hmm:

It would be nice. Because from my position it appears as if I was asked to redraw my art work, because of the foal color references. But even if they were to revise that rule, I'd still rather just sit out since this is only the second issue they have had in the last month, I'm thinking it will be down hill from there. Ya know how they say, too many hands in the pot makes the soup go bad.

I think you're right though! Too many cooks in the kitchen spoil the broth :XD:
