Lemon Cup Cake

This Cup Cake, among others in my gallery, was done for a birthday party. 7 flavors, 12 cup cakes each. A good friend of mine did the baking and came up with the flavor profiles, so I can not take credit for that. I was there to do the decorating, but I still thought these were to yummy and artistic not to post on DA. Each cupcake got a custom made cupcake wrapper with Happy Birthday written in calligraphy. Later that day they were put beautiful display of pink and white.

This is a Lemon Pound cake filled with home made lemon curd and a sweet lemon butter cream frosting. Garnished with candied lemon zest.
