Keltec Salinero, or "Salinero" as he was called this last olympics, kicked the Germans ass two times in a row for Individual Dressage. Not only is this dark bay Hanoverian gelding a wold record setter, but will go dome immortalized as a breyer sculpture as well.

Drawn and colored for the VHR Newsletter. The image is actually being auctioned off on VHR to raise money for the news letter.

Definitely one of my favorite horses... I love Anky's horses in general but Salinero's a spitfire. You've captured him beautifully. It's almost life you can see some mischief lurking in his eyes, buried beneath schooling.

thas awesome o.o you really caught the power of the horse well!
I never got to watch the dressage olympics D: it was on at like 6 or 7 in the morning and I didn't wanna get up that early. Yes, I'm lazy XD

OMG it was love. I love dressage. Really the eventing and jumping can go away. But I watch it for the dressage. It's not just about jumping and running and beating the clock. Germany has ruled the team dressage event since the 80's, but the Netherlands always hold strong for dressage. And they took home the gold for Individual dressage.

I've noticed that. I've seen pictures where he goes from a medium bay to nearly black or a black bay.
